Have you ever peed in the woods? Heck, I've had to poop in the woods before. I pee outside quite often. We were just at the beach this last week... I must have peed in the ocean a dozen times.
My brother in law is Hawaiian... when he was at home and out surfing, they would poop in the ocean. Lots of surf spots required a long drive and then a longer walk and finally a long swim out to where the waves break. Makes it really annoying to swim back in, walk to the car, drive to the road and then try to find a toilet.
I'm not advocating for pooping in your campsite. I'm not even advocating for peeing in your campsite.
I don't see the problem with a little gray water getting dumped though. We usually wash dishes at the outdoor sink... guess where the dirty water goes...? We have been known to cook over the campfire... guess where the grease or other food waste goes...? Shoot, I've even dropped a burger or hot dog into the campfire before.
