When you open your driver door you will see a yellow sticker that says Cargo can not exceed XX pounds. This number is the amount of cargo that your truck can handle. That number includes all passengers, fuel, whatever is in the bed and the hitch weight of your trailer.
Truck = 2010 F150 Supercrew 5.4L 3.55 limited slip, tow package (7200# GVWR package)
Front GAWR - 3750; Rear GAWR - 3850
Tire Load says capacity 1409 lbs.
Book Tow limit = 9600 lbs Like mentioned above this number is not as important as some of the others.
Camper = Sticker says Dry weight = 6400 lbs; carrying capacity = 1500 lbs. (total 7900 lbs?) This is correct, dry weight+cargo in trailer equals this total GVWR of the trailer
Numbers at the scales:
Front wheels = 3280 lbs
rear wheels = (6960 - 3280)= 3680 lbs?
Truck + Camper = 13,500
Truck unhitched + WDH + bikes, etc = 6260
Camper = 13,500 - 6260 = 7240 lbs
You need to find out what your hitch weight is. You can look up your model of trailer to get the dry hitch and calculate your loaded hitch weight. This plus your your other cargo weight should not exceed your cargo capacity. Your cargo and the weight of the truck should not exceed the 7200 GVWR number.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions. Not sure what your trailer is but we used to tow our TT with a 2001 F150 5.4 with 3.73 gears. Our trailer was 7800 GVWR but our hitch was heavy.
