The scale weights, all passengers in the truck? No, just me and that is what puzzles me. We just finished a big trip and the truck did awesome! Mountains and all. Gas mileage was not very good, but we expect that. Plenty of power, good control, no sway, no buffeting when trucks passed. Our dogs travel in the trailer, but I cant put the kids and DW in there! lol!Full tank of gas? YesWhat about water in the TT? maybe 10 gallons...I dont like traveling with much water, if at all.Maybe you could haul the TT with the water tank empty if you need more cargo weight and just properly load it?
I commend you for doing all this. Its funny how a truck with a 9000+ towing max is all maxed out with a sub 7000 trailer. Be safe, it sounds like you are good as long as don't buy too many heavy toys.
