I have never had problems with stove top but the oven does get too hot on the bottom so I have a pizza stone that sits in it and helps to even the heat out.
We went to Lowes and bought 4 4x4 ceramic tiles and put them in the oven. Does the same thing as the pizza stone. I think we were in for a total of 3 bucks...
My $.02
Just curious,
Have any of the tiles cracked from the heat.
I know they have been through a kiln and all but being one that has installed a ton of tile in my day and have seen them split for no reason, I was just wondering if you have split a few.
And what thickness of a tile do you use? Standard 3/8 or thicker?
Just curious.
Thanks
Jeff
