I used to use those generators from Cabela's, different name same gen, would pay about 80.00 for it when on sale.
Used them at my old camper before I built my cabin. Would start it at abut 7-8 in the evening, let it run till it ran out of gas. Would go for about 11-12 hours on a gallon of gas. Ran the furnace, TV and anything else I needed. In the morning the battery was charged for the day.
Did this for 6 years, went thru 3 generators. They would last about 2 years and 400-450 hours. Most time in the fall and early winter, sometimes at below 0 temps. Not bad for 40 dollars a year. Noise was not bad at all. I had it on the far side of a wood fence and had to listen to see if it was still running. No neighbors so no big deal.
