I live just west of Carlyle lake. The sites are truly lake front. Great sites. At this time the lake it quite high and some of the site are under water. The lake level is coming down, but a lot depends on how much rain we get. The corps is restricting the water output at the dam because they do not want to flood farm ground down stream. If you can reserve the spot that you want then they are open. If they are flooded they will be marked first come basis.
