Has anyone used a 15" spare after 16" conversion?

Title says it all, I upgraded to 16" rims and tires and in a moment of financial conservitism I went with keeping one of the 15" tires and rims as the spare. Will it work for a short term solution...

I have towed two trailers, one had very small tires, And I upgraded to the next size up and kept one of the old ones as a spare Used it a couple times.

The other trailer I believe I got a full set of larger rims when I upgraded.. That was the 13 Foot Scamp I towed to the dealer the day I came home with this A I'm sitting in. And blew a tire on the way :)
