Have a J.C. Penney Battery, Need warranty replacement!
This of course is a joke for those of us that are old enough to remember the J.C. PENNEY Battery with the Lifetime warranty. THOSE WHERE THE DAYS!!

The only care I ever bought NEW.. the battery failed... I got a replacement from Penny's (Penske as I recal ran that department, not sure) 60 bucks.. Lasted a week. they put in a new one, lasted....many years longer than my brother's first wedding,.... failed when I was going to the rehersal for his 2nd wedding in fact. (he's on wife 3 now looks like he's keeping her). By then Penny's no longer had the "ifetime" but of course I was "Grandfathered" into the warranty. the 5 year battery they repaced it with was tagged at something like 145.
Best battery investment I ever made
That battery.... Outlasted the car.. but the car died, in part due to a drug overdose. (No not me but car) I pulled up to a red light and stopped.
The truck about a quarter mile behind me also pulled up to the red light and stopped.. Problem is I was already there so he ran right over me. Shuttle truck from Sentry Drugs.. See the car got "Overdosed" on Sentry Drugs.
