Have the Police stopped enforcing our traffic laws?

We towed our 5er from northern Maine to Florida, about 2000 +/- miles. During this journey we observed about 75% of the total traffic driving 15 to 20 + MPH over the posted speed limit. Also observe...

I suppose a possible accusation of profiling can play into their decision not to be overt aggressive in enforcing the law and not enforcing the laws appear to have federal support.

According to the news lately it appears to be a no win situation for the police and public.
