We towed our 5er from northern Maine to Florida, about 2000 +/- miles. During this journey we observed about 75% of the total traffic driving 15 to 20 + MPH over the posted speed limit. Also observed was tailgating, lane maneuvers without signaling, aggressive “driving to endanger”, and yield signs that would be better used for target practice for we observed hardly anyone obeying a yield sign. Regular, common to us, driver courtesy was left behind in northern Maine accept for a few very courteous Pennsylvania drivers.
I realize the Police are under staffed and busy otherwise with catching bad guys and illegals :D, but it would have been refreshing to observe more active traffic enforcement.
Safe travels.

I grew up in South Portland, on the Cape Elizabeth town line. Greetings from WA's Olympic Peninsula (where I successfully escaped to). I commuted for 17 years from Manchester, NH down I-93 to Beantown. 80 MPH in a 65 MPH zone is commonplace. Welcome to I-95. What you experienced is normal for that travel corridor.
