Have the Police stopped enforcing our traffic laws?

We towed our 5er from northern Maine to Florida, about 2000 +/- miles. During this journey we observed about 75% of the total traffic driving 15 to 20 + MPH over the posted speed limit. Also observe...

Here I thought it was because of the roadways full of illiterate drivers not knowing how to read "speed limit and yield signs". :S
Must be ignorant drivers with the "me first attitude" and "the laws don't apply to me". :R
