The GSP and the county mounties are thick on I-75 north of the I-575 split. I always keep my eye open for them. Otherwise, I drive with the traffic flow, which on I-24 and I-75 seems to be about 80 mph unless the traffic backs up. Having lived in Europe for almost a decade, I learned how to drive safely and to a much higher skill level than the average U.S. driver who got their license off the back of a cereal box. In Germany, for example, two years and several thousand Euros in driving school is required to get a full privilege license. Teenagers need not apply. Practice some of the brain-dead driving found on American interstates on the German autobahn and you will not be driving long before you either lose your license or die. Personally, I would like to see some the higher standards for drivers found in Europe over here, including instant fines collected on the spot for things like aggressive driving and improperly maintained vehicles. In Germany, you can be heavily fined for something as simple as running out of gas, it shows you weren't paying attention!
