Unfortunately, this issue has gotten away from Law enforcement, probably forever. Changes need to be made:
1. Car technology has changed so much that 55/65mph speed limits, in most areas, are ridiculous.
2. I would suggest EVERYONE should be road-tested every 5 years for the ability to drive in a sensible manner. Holding a license is a privilege and not a right.
3. Speed limits should be increased to 80mph for rural and 70mph for urban highways. With logical exceptions of course!
4. Law enforcement should then focus on aggressive drivers, left lane huggers and those who clearly should not be behind the wheel.
