Have the Police stopped enforcing our traffic laws?

We towed our 5er from northern Maine to Florida, about 2000 +/- miles. During this journey we observed about 75% of the total traffic driving 15 to 20 + MPH over the posted speed limit. Also observe...

The speed limit though Salt Lake used to be 65 on I-15.
They are raising it to 70.
At 65 the traffic was 15-20 over the limit.
Now who knows what it will be!
Raising the limit is a stupid move I think.
