I'm over 65 and my medicare suplimentals are covered by my previous employers BCBS policy. My monthly contribution/premium increased by 550% as of 1/1/2014.
EDIT I was given all of 14 days notice of the increase, with no explanation. My prior employer said contact BCBS and BCBS said contact my prior employer.
