The truth is that I have seen this resistance to renting and emotional connection between RV and owner more than not. With the success of airbnb, relayrides, etc., we were thinking that maybe RVs could also take advantage of the sharing economy.
Thing is. I can't take the chance of some renter tearing it up for me. Insurance or not. I couldn't replace it, and since I'm paying for it. I want every scratch, every cushion stain, every sink stain to be mine. I would just go off If some body brought it back messed up, or didn't empty the tanks the way I wanted. Not worth the worry. Plus. I like for it to be here, in case I want to use it.
