HELP! Tow Bar

I am shopping for Tow Bar and want to make sure I am buying the correct thing. There are some that look like they attach to a hitch but what I need to attach to MH is NOT that. Is this correct?

Here are some I found on Craigslist. Could anyone tell me if these are the right thing. I know that I also need "Base Plates"????? for my Nissan Frontier apart from the Tow Bar??

There is
1. this

2. this

3. and this

Are these the type I need or am I looking at the wrong thing?

Thanks so much for your help.
  • Number three is harder to hook up as you must be aligned correctly and right distance.
Number two needs to be inspected for cracks at the slip joint and normally needed to have slip joints cleaned. You can normally check under the boots. It looks good.
Number one is or would be my first choice.
  • Thanks Ron and US. I just wasn't sure I was looking at the right thing and your help has reassured me that I am.

    Thanks!

yes. I think you'll find that a towbar that remains attached to the MH's hitch receiver and connects to the toad via base plates installed on the toad will be the easiest to deal with.
