I would tend to agree, and your initial suspicions were right-on.
IMO even under conservative loading conditions the loaded tongue weight would be at least 1,200lbs taking into consideration the location of the 324RST's front bedroom wardrobe w/trunk storage and pass-thru storage.
As you are aware, a 32ft-plus TT handles much better with the loaded tongue weight in the 13% to 15% range, with 15% being more desirable.
