Instead of us trying to find ways to put out a fire on a faulty appliance 'known' to have fire issues.
How about everyone getting on board and STOP these dang manufacturer's from continuing to sell these RV fridges that are a time bomb waiting to catch fire, burn down an RV and kill someone?
And this is related to cameras in campgrounds how? Just asking! - Jim_ShoeExplorer

I always give those cameras the one finger salute
I remember an NFL game where the camera was panning around the stadium and zeroed in on a single fan in the seats, surrounded by empty seats in the entire section. He saluted. I think it was Dandy Don that commented "There's a fan indicating his team is number one". - rockhillmanorExplorer IIInstead of us trying to find ways to put out a fire on a faulty appliance 'known' to have fire issues.

I don't see it as an issue. Just about everywhere you go you're on video.........
The don't care, just accept it, attitude of many is exactly what has allowed our government to be in the controlling position it is in today regarding the privacy rights of the people.:( - wa8yxmExplorer IIILet me put it this way... In his book 1984 (Which is about the Lennon type communists) George Orwell had cameras all over the place.
In reality, it was a bit later for the most part but cameras started to get used big time along about 1980.. I know since I was in an office that benefited from them and there were cameras up as far back as the 70s.
You can google "Traffic Cameras" and you will find many all over the world, or if you want to save some clicks www.michigan.gov/mdot click on traffic conditions (As I recall) and you can get to the state owned traffic cameras, at least the ones NOT currently being used for close up surveillance of incidents by the state police. yes, most of those cameras are delivered to police dispatchers.
I see signs in some private campgrounds "THIS ARE UNDER VIDEO SURVEILLANCE" and .. Some of the things I know from those cameras.
Story goes that the idiot (Who clearly did not know how to read) was taking bicycles out of the bike rack in front of the family center....
How do we know this.. Next morning the park Assistant Manager was sitting at the manager's desk, across the desk sat Master Idiot and his grandfather.. Master Idiot was looking a bit... repentant, Grandpa... Pissed. They were watching the video of Idiot swiping bicycles.
As for the Parks service or Forest service not being too forthcoming on why the cameras were there.... Standard Police response to most everything is "NO Comment" and for very good reason I might add. Having worked for 9-1-1. I know we had that line drilled into use big time.
Though I do recall one case where a reporter called and I offered to tell him everything I knew about it... Then I added that I'd read the article in the competitor's newspaper.. he thanked me but was not interested in what I knew (Absolutly NOTHING beyond what was in the other newspaper) - pitchExplorer III do not like it a bit. That being said, when you pull into my drive there are 3 cameras filming you, A wide angle still shot of your tag and a real nice close up as you are ringing my bell.
I hate all the survelliance, but it is a fact of life. - hotbyteExplorerThis sentence really made me chuckle...

Cameras are everywhere today. I work in NYC and every square inch is monitored by security cameras. Red light cameras, speed cameras, bus lane cameras, ATM machine cameras ... everywhere. Everyone with a decent cellphone carries a camera. I own a 2000 sq.ft. home with cameras inside and outside.
Cameras have become a part of our life and there is no getting away from them.

On the bright side elevator nose picking and rearranging of undergarments are at an all time low on this side. - bigred1cavExplorerMore hate of my countries government BS.
What is it compels some citizens of the USA to so hate our form of government? What is the complaint about using electronics to aid with law enforcement and protection of the people of the USA?
If you are hiding something from public view most probably you should not be doing what is is you're afraid to let be seen.
If you want your herb and booze on public camp areas get the laws changed. - gclossExplorerCameras are everywhere today. I work in NYC and every square inch is monitored by security cameras.
