I'm not trying to challenge your choice there are lots of people using aux. tanks. I just don't understand how buying more fuel results in savings.
A lot of people "think" they need an aux. tank. Not worth the loss of storage space for me or the extra weight. My truck already weighs 14K loaded.
If I am planning on traveling to an area I am new to I will carry 5 gal in the tool box to be safe.
I think people should travel a while without an extra tank to see if they really need it or want it then decide.
I for one don't want to spend my retired life chasing nickels!
