High cost of diesel

With the drop in the price of gasoline, and a much less drop in the price of diesel, the difference between diesel and regular gasoline is more than 60 cents at some stations to more than 70 cents at others locally. Is that pretty much the same across the country?

At least I can (usually) fill my truck now without hitting the $99-$100 pump limit first.

Ahh! Remember the days of old when diesel was quite a bit cheaper than regular gasoline? Pre 2004?

  • Around here it's about .30 to .45 difference. Inconsequential to me considering the extra energy in diesel and it's associated performance.
