I had an amazing stroke of luck last New Year’s Eve. I had long wanted to replace the 17 year old Jeep I used for local, around town driving but couldn’t stand the thought of talking to a salesman I spec’d out a new vehicle and emailed 3 dealers for a price. Two came back with sales weasel **** but no price. The third response came from a secretary at a dealership nearly deserted due to the holiday.
She actually gave me a price! It wasn’t great but seemed reasonable. Sold!
The Jeep wasn’t worth much so I donated it to charity for a tax deduction.
