What I have done is place a chain on the tongue of my trailer and pulled just a foot or two off center so to get truck under it . The trailer should twist on the axles , I took some weight off the jack with a two by four pry bar and had my mean old wife drive the truck . Only thing that you could damage would be the jack , but first raise the jack up so more weight is shifted onto axles , just inch it along .
