Since you have the new truck, can you back it up to the trailer and take a measurement? That's what I told my brother to do when he called me to measure mine, a 4x2, when he bought a 4x4 version of my truck. He wanted to know what size of shank to buy for his horse trailer. It hooks up level with a standard 2" offset hitch on my truck. He did and bought an proper hitch. Just wondering.
