yup our situation was similar, no cell phones in those days. though we did stick it out the first night. The following morning very early we pleaded to the owners of the campground (along with 2 other camping family's) to remove the "farm animals" in which the owners refused!

So we along with 2 other out of state campers packed up and left.

just saw no rangers. then hand it to the host. its on them to contact owners/rangers/police if they cant handle it themselves.

cold day in hell when I leave because someone else wont follow the rules. call the rangers and have them warned then removed.

I would've called the cops. We were at Diamond Lake last year staying in Broken Arrow CG. We noticed at one end of the CG this big group of trailers with a very large number of people hanging out at one spot and some music playing. Wasn't loud at the time. Well around 9-10:00 it got real loud. Next thing I heard was a cop car, It wasn't sirens but you could tell he was in a hurry. Bingo the music stopped.
Personally I would've reported them as drunk and out of control. All it takes is one time and they'll stop.

The city owned cg we frequent has the city constabulary patrol after quiet time. I really appreciate that. This is a cg that books peak times a year in advance. They have no problem evicting those who don't like thier rules and with people waiting for spots in the overflow they are filled instantly. BRAVO! We keep going back because they care about those there who follow the rules (the vast majority of campers). We had to complain once and manager took care of it instantly. I admit these places are hard to find but when you do - keep going back and keep letting them know how much you enjoy it.

Sorry that your weekend was cut short, OP.

I rarely contact the camp host when a rule is broken that involves social behavior. I reserve official contact with the camp host for garbage left over night, locked bathroom stalls and water hoggers.

Park security is who I contact for rowdy campers and when signing in at the office I store their number in my cell phone as do most of the people who camp nearby.

I pay good money and time to score a holiday weekend reservation, know what to expect to a certain degree and go with the flow. Life is too short for me to change my plans to accommodate miscreants.

I don't get mad.. I get even,, If I had to leave with comments like they made,, I would have tossed a few handfuls of sugar,, brown sugar works the best. Really attracts ants and ants ruin a party!! At the coast bread crumbs work wonders with sea gulls and skunks!!

I was helping out at a campground in Florida one Memorial Weekend a few years ago! I volunteered to pull a night shift of security.. Big mistake. At 11 pm I saw three young boys walking around the park with bottles of beer. I asked nicely where their parents were as no kids were supposed to be unsupervised after 10 pm! They said that their parents were in the Marina listening to music and said they were allowed to walk around the park. I asked the boys to have the parents come outside, which they did. I told them about the curfew, and about the beers they had. Well, two other guys came up behind me, pulled me off the golf cart and beat and kicked me in the ribs. Also punched me in the face knocking me down. My wife who was at our RV heard the noise and came out. The Park manager came to the scene and a sheriff was dispatched. Did a report and sent me to ER. Busted a few ribs, eye swollen shut, a few minor cuts. I filed charges on the main guy but no witnesses to the initial incident so case dropped. But they were told never to come back.
