Honda- Ford 4 down tow
Can any one tell me on a Honda Crx or a Ford Edge 4 down tow, do the miles record while towed? Thanks

- Motorhome magazine publishes an annual "Dinghy guide" covering what vehicles can be towed 4 down. It is something that is year specific, so check for your exact vehicle. Past years guides are free to download from their site as well.
BTW for 2017 models, I dont think any Honda's can be towed 4 down, and the Edge can but must be run for 5 minutes and then have the battery disconnected daily. And then be run again every six hours of towing. - Most/all of the electronic odometers on cars today do not register when the ignition is off. The old days of the mechanical speedometer/odometer cables that always registered are long gone.
- Certain models of the Ford Edge CAN be towed four down and the mileage does not add on.
I have a 2012 Front Wheel drive Limited version. Keyless entry, adaptive cruise, etc. - My 2003 CRV does not record mileage when towing
- We have a 2008 Ford Edge all-wheel drive which we tow four down. Very easy to hook up and tow. No fuses to pull or need to disconnect the battery. Miles do not register on the odometer.
- Miles do not register on our 2016 Edge
