Honda 2000 generator?

My 2kw Yamaha runs my converter, microwave, and or 1500w heater. You need to have fridge on gas in order to run the microwave. The same shuffling when you run the 1500w heater.
Cool $999.00 spent on battery charging, heat, and microwave while off the grid.


I have 12vt TV w DVD, furnace, bunk fans, and full propane cookware (coffee to a skillet).

You would pay retail up to $999.00. I know doubled up they run the 13.5 ac. I rarely see 15k AC discussed with the (2) 2kw Yama or Honda.

If it wasn't for the low price I would not even be interested. If I have to buy a second should I expect to pay 900 or higher(retail and not used from craigslist). Tks.

$750 is about 10% over cost. so yes it is a good deal. I bought my 2000 from my SIL for cost and that was just under $700.

The Honda 2000 will run "some" 13.5K ACs in some cases. No way on a 15k.

The Honda 2000i is 1600W continuous with 2000W peak only...

I powered down everything except the air conditioner and even just started the fan first etc and it fired up once. Ran good until it cycled then tripped the breaker. Every now and then you will hear someome say theirs works just fine. Didn't work for me and mine is the 13,500 BTU model...

The 2KW does however run my PD9260C converter/charger just fine which I run everyday for three hours to recharge my battery bank when camping off the power grid.

Wouldn't leave home without it haha...
