  • Hi All.

Well, those Honda EU2000i's have been around for a very long time. And as to being easy to carry around with you, it been no problems for use for a good many years.

Check out our Signature, Besides our 5.5G in our Class A, we also have had for a good many years our set of Honda EU2000i's, Paralla kit and Extended Run Tank. No problems for use at any times over the many years of using them..

We are mostly Boon-Dockers, and mostly enjoy it in the winter time. Our 30 AMP Motorhome, we can very easly go past that 30 AMP Limit with no problems either, and we can run just about anything that we please, anytime that we please, and anywhere we please.

We "Don't even use our Motorhomes 25,000 BTU Furance. We haven't used an RV Furance in many many years I do keep it running right in case of Emergencys or what ever.

We us and carry plenty of Propane Portable Heaters instead. Our Wave #6 (6000 BTU's) Propane Heater has been used for over the past 25 years or so. We many years ago added a Mr. Heater (9000 BTU's), and we also have the Big Brother to the little Mr. Heater, the "BIG BUDDY", Mr. Heater (18,000 BTU's).

I think we have both enough "Electricty" and enough "Propane". "Yep", we are pretty darn well for stating out for about as long as we like. Just the two of us, and our two little "Yorkies", don't really even have to much trouble with the size of our Big Tanks of the Motorhome. 100 Gallons of Water, plus 6 Gallons for the Water Heater, and another Hundred Gallons to hold our Gay water. Some places the waste water isn't any problem at all.

We sure have learned a lot about RV'ing and Boon-Docking in the past 46+ years. We still have a few more good years left in us still.

Good Luck. Happy Travels. Dan & Jill & two small "Yorkie Kids" , who love to still travel and Boon-Dock as we still do.
  • I've owned many Honda generators/inverters. When will they ever make an RV configured inverter? Like Onan dimensions packaged to fit an RV space like 16 - 18" high. The EV4010 and EV6010 were nice but not inverters and not quiet.
  • Well darn. I just picked up EU6500is yesterday.
Ran a great home test today.
Super quiet and all kinds of power!
