THIS is the CORRECT way. And the ONLY way you should let a honey wagon empty your tanks.
I described it on that other thread. But if it helps a new RV'er reading this thread I'll repeat a shorter version again.
They have a 5 gallon paint bucket and a short sewage hose.
They hook up their short sewage hose, put it in the bucket and then open the gate valve on your holding tank, at the same time they put their suction hose into the bucket.
NO suction hose ever touches your holding tanks.
If you don't believe that the suction hose off a commercial septic tank truck can collapse, crack an RV plastic holding tank just call any RV mobile Repair guy he'll tell you how many he's had to replace and/or fix and why. :W
