"Stupid" is often used to describe a differing point of view.

There wouldn't be much of a forum if every thread was closed after someone posted an opposing "stupid" viewpoint. Just look to the "diesel vs gas" or "torque vs horsepower" debates. Both sides often think the other's arguments are stupid.

But it does become offensive once you start calling other posters stupid. So let's try not to let this get offensive now.
