Actually, this sounds like some humans I've encountered. :E
I was just gonna say that ! :B
I worked retail for years. I cleaned dressing rooms for this kind of stuff. I also worked at a boarding kennel. Trust me, the dogs were a LOT cleaner. And when they did make a mess, they were embarrassed and ashamed.... - rockhillmanorExplorer

X2. Quite often it is but if it's always the parents then explain how 3 kids in one family, all parented the same, can turn out so different?
because the kids connect to the world differently.
Can't stress how so true this one comment is. I teach kids how to shoot. We have basic rules that everyone has to follow. All learn different, all behave differently. The world in general would be a much better place if we didn't "cookie cutter" our approach to life in general.
Back to the OP: Glad you are OK and weathered the storm. Also agree with the sign-sometimes the adults are the issue! - toedtoesExplorer IIII disagree that it's always back to the parents. How you're raised is only part of it. But it is also about an individual's own psyche. Spoiled brats, narcissists, etc., aren't always created. Many times they are born like that.
And a parent who raises child A to be a great adult can also use the same exact approach on child B with disastrous results - because the kids connect to the world differently.
I've also known many older folks who were "good people" in their younger years but have become selfish and greedy and such in their later years because they have determined they now deserve it. They are just as bad as the "young generation" that gets so much blame (every generation). - toedtoesExplorer III

I don't know about the part about 'dogs' not stealing the towels.
My dogs are pretty partial to those nice heavy rectangular towel that's always on the floor by the bathtub. They always seem to come home with those....they fit real nice in their crate. :W
Your dogs are in it now. They're never going to forgive you for tattling on them. - rockhillmanorExplorerI don't know about the part about 'dogs' not stealing the towels.
