- blofgrenExplorerAs a former owner of a Ford 6.0L I would bet it was a combination of the inductive heat strategy programming in the FICM and the failure of the FICM that ruined your injectors. The 6.0L had a serious cold start and rough running problem and Ford "solved" the problem by reflashing the FICM to heat the injector coils so that they would function better and the truck would run smoother when cold. The injectors were never designed to do this and it leads to early failure of them. I had at least 3 injectors going bad when I ultimately traded my 6.0L because I didn't want to spend the huge $ on that repair and an increasingly bad bedplate leak.
As others have suggested the biggest issue with your truck with B20 is rubber fuel components. - SBradleyExplorerSo you don't think bio diesel is a problem?

I guess one way of avoiding B10 would be to not fuel at either one. Probably why other stops are cheaper. :E - JMichaelExplorerPilot/FlyingJ has a web site listing Bio content

As this nonsense worsens, it will eventually lead to the demise of RVing as we know it. Yes, the sky is falling, just ever so slowly. These programs, and the related tax burden, are driving up the cost of everything.

Holy Moly! Do you not understand how the govt system in this country works!
Sure. The father of some liberal arts major has a friend in some government agency, or maybe the father donated to a campaign and called in a favor to get his son a job at some government agency. Because they really didn't have to work to get their job, there's no reason for them to believe that they have to work for a living, that the government will just take care of them for the rest of their lives and all they have to do is show up and not screw up. The game becomes make yourself visible so you'll get a promotion so you can retire at maximum G-level, and then become a lobbyist so you can lobby whatever agency you just left. So you come up with all kinds of programs that should be voted on by elected officials where their vote would be recorded and therefore accountable, but you're not accountable to anyone. Programs like bio-fuel, carbon footprint, green frog protection subsidies and ten thousand other programs that cost us tax money that we can do absolutely nothing about. I think I have a pretty good understanding of how the government system in this country "works". - RedRocket204Explorer

Almost impossible to avoid it. Thank your government for that.
I was not aware the US govt was responsible for special interest groups that pushed it through and the farmers who are more than happy to get paid to farm the stuff. What was I thinking?
Holy Moly! What country do you live in? Do you honestly believe that if the EPA didn't mandate bio-fuel tat anyone would produce it?
