Not too concerned about 5 volts over.
Do dry camp a lot and if the weather is mild, would forgo power if I was concerned about something. Or selectively shut off circuits or items..such as electric fridge on too high voltage.. or power converter if the batteries can handle it.
Spring time camping I've had stops where I use remarkably little power.
