If I needed the air I would plug in without EMS and monitor the voltage while running.
Probably drop 5 volts and no worries.
Progressive EMS I would just use the bypass switch to do a five minute run test.
Otherwise if no air conditioning... I don't even plug in. No idea on voltage.
