We ran into this problem at an Alberta campground. EMS would not let power through and stated it was an open ground. It was a new section of the campground. Owner was notified and maintenance tried to fix it with no luck. Interestingly, the owner's motor home would not let power through in the new section. He had an aha moment when he realized that it was because of incorrect park wiring. Those that did not have an EMS were unaware and just plugged in. We stayed, used our inverter and the generator the next morning and moved on. No adjustment to the bill. We would not plug in if our EMS detected an issue.
