14 years. seems like the way some folks trade every few years, an Rv payment would be a permanent thing for them. With depreciation and interest, that would be pretty spendy I would think
Maybe. maybe not. A small payment is far less than staying in hotels 30 nights a year. For those that only go out 10 nights a year it's a loser. We camp 40+ nights a year. Thats $4K a year for a hotel and a cheap one at that. A small RV payment is less than that.
I've done the hotel/BNB thing before for years when riding MC's. Eating out all the time plus a room is spendy.

Those figures prove exactly what most of us already know, a targeted survey is biased by the targeted group. Who was the targeted group you ask, probably folks buying an RV at a dealership. The folks conducting the study needed as large a group as possible in a confined space. Walking around a campground would not meet their needs and would give answers they don't want.
My assumption was that this was based on sales data and not individual surveys. You are right that the source of the data (if there even is any) would have a big impact on its reliability. I would read sales data one way but customer input entirely differently. Then again, this could be something some salesperson read on the internet somewhere with no viable backing at all!
