How Much Calgon ?
We have a 45 gallon black tank. How much Calgon (Water Softner) do you use in yours to keep things running well?

In our fifth wheel, we used 4 capfuls of liquid calgon to a one third to half full tank, drove, then dumped when it burped, after we landed. That was in a 55 gallon black tank.
I dont think you can use too much. If you use powder, mix it in a bucket with warm water and a scoop of powder he laundry soap. I added about a third cup of liquid bleach or orange spic and span too.
