We just took delivery on our new rv last week. First time we have ever had one. But, we have been planning on getting one for several years. We also would not live anwhere that we could not have our rv on the property.
When we began to get serious about our purchase, hubby got serious about where to park it. So he had a second concrete drive put in that could handle any size rv we purchased. He had planned this to detail. He had power run to the location and had a sewer line run to our septic tank system. At the end of the driveway he had a big concrete pad poured within code.
Now that we have the rv of our dreams he is on to the next phase of storage. We contracted with a company that builds steel buildings. We are going to have one built on the slab big enough and high enough to store our rv inside. He'll have plenty of room for his other toys and his tools as well. This should be complete within the next four weeks.
Value? Priceless in our opinion. If we were ever to sell the property the extra 'Garage' is a big plus.
