I can see a lot of benefit to being able to park the RV on site but being in a highly regulated adult retirement community it will never happen. We have what I think is the next best thing. Very secure storage lots are located within our community about 2 miles from the house. We have a 40' slot for our 24' C that costs $35 a month. The lots are securely fenced, locked and monitored by our local Patrol. Better still we are between a 42'+ Class A on the west and a large new fiver on the east keeping our rig in a virtual valley of shade for most of the year. :B
We are permitted to park in front of the house for up to 72 hours for pre/post trip loading, cleaning and general maintenance and rarely is our rig out front for even 24 hours. About the only downside I can see to storing a motorhome at the house is the large red flag emblazoned with "We're gone" that goes up when the RV goes down the road.
