I posed the 30-year mortgage scenario mainly as a means to show that one could pay $12,000 more for a house with RV parking for the same monthly cost as a cheaper house without and a monthly storage fee.

I spent about $2000 eight years ago to pour a concrete pad, plumb a sewer dump and wire in 30-amp service. Storage for the same time period would have been almost $6,000. Convenience and peace of mind--priceless.
