I try to keep a balance of storing my coach at home, maintaining a nice front yard and not make my neighbors look at my RV. I often do house repairs for the neighbors who aren't handy and often THEY don't even know when we're gone because the coach is pretty well hidden, unless you look closely.
I take it that your covenants state that the RV has to be hidden from the street. good way around that limit to a 6 ft fence. :)
