For me when I purchased this current house it was a requirement to be able to build a garage to keep the RV at home. So it added about 100K to the price to build the garage. That means we can run all year and use the coach much more. It used to be 60 nights a year now we are well over 100 and last year hit 260 nights but that was an odd year. Well, I just bought another property and will build my retirement home on it and it is 40 acres and it will have a 72x104 metal shed that I am putting up so I can continue to run all year and also put in a photo studio as well. Can't wait till I get it all built. It will be bigger then the house and I will probably spend more time in it then the house if you count daytime hours.
So you are saying that the $100,000 garage allowed you to use your rig year round because you didn't need to winterize?? Well we store at a yard about 3 miles away, and use the rig year round, we winterize three to six times a year. This is mostly blowing the water lines and keeping items that freezing temps can damage out when we winterize.
