How to prevent Keirig from freezing??
It has been suggested that we run some whisky through it.
Is there a better way other than keeping it in the truck/motels for 3 day?

- We had a drip coffee maker freeze one year, even though we thought we had emptied it. Personally I would put it someplace warm, unless you don't really care if it has to be replaced.
- How would it freeze if there's no water in it?
I'd imagine if it were a concern, I'd buy an insulated ice chest it would fit into and let it live there until I needed to use it. - Go for it, make a hot toddy. Can't think of a better way.
