How about locking caps like locking gas caps?.

Call me paranoid, but I can easily imagine some joker in a parking lot deciding to open my water filler, inserting his you-know-what and peeing into it. Just because he thinks it's funny.

So for peace of mind I replaced swapped the hardware on the outside-shower door (which locks) and that on the water filler cover (which didn't). I'm more concerned with the purity of my fresh water than with some joker turning on my outside shower.
