My experience with Cat Scales.
Pay the fee for the first "weigh". Within the same day a second weigh is no charge.
Take your weigh ticket back to Cat & explain that the figures you have are impossible. In my opinion, there is no way the WDH can redistribute weight in the manner you have described.
