Unfortunately, I found the following weights:
5340 Steer Axle
3280 Drive Axle
8200 TT tandem
Gross: 16820
Perhaps you had the truck parked with the rear tires partly on the steer axle pad and partly on the drive axle pad??
This would add load to the steer axle weight and remove load from the drive axle weight.

That's totally possible. User error is normally the problem. :)
The scale attendant told me to drive slowly onto the pads, and stop at the pedastal and hit the "call" button and tell her my plate number. I got my drivers door to the pedestal, but saw no button. UNTILL I LOOKED UP! :) LOL a semi is clearly taller than a pickup.
I never looked back to check my rear tire placement, because I was hanging out the door, standing on my step bar to reach the darn call button.
I sure hope it was user error. I'd hate breaking the front axle.
Of course, I am unloading some of the "stuff" in the camper that we haven't used, and also any unnecessary tools or equipment out of the truck toolbox.
Thanks all for the help. Looks like I need to head back to the scales with the TT, kids, dog, and wife ready for camp.
