I discovered ants in my RV
I picked up the RV in FL about 30 days ago, drove it home to SC where it sat for a week while I packed. I spent 5 days in 3 different campgrounds between NC and PA then the holiday weekend in the park...

Yes it could mean something about where they came from. Because you came from Fla, if they are large ants like a carpenter ant then look at the midsection. If its red then that is much better than having carpenter ants as these are just a pain and not destructive. They are easy to get rid of with some Boraxo. Just sprinkle some around where you see them and let them take it home. It takes a few days but resist the temptation to kill them. If the are small ants, Terro will do the trick.
