My genre of music is quite a different style, but it works for me. Anyway, a couple years ago I found my old box of cassette tapes from my teen and early 20's years (I'm 59 now). My old cassette tape recorder was right there too. I though I'd just gone to heaven! I plopped in the first tape, all excited, and when I started listening, I thought... Oh my gosh ... that's so not me any more! I plopped in the second ... all excited ... Oh my gosh ... I actually like that at one time in my life! On and on it went. Well, I packed up the box, and shoved it back on the shelf. Good memories, and there they will stay. I think the memories are better than the actual thing! How times change when we get older!
I find it interesting to go to YouTube and discover music that's older than I am, but never heard of before, and actually fall in love with it! My latest discovery was Harry Belafonte and the song that hooked me on his music was Jamaica Farewell. Times change, but still come back around.
