I hate ants!! :-(

The worse ones we run across are those little sand ants from places like Lakewood in Myrtle beach.

There is no telling how many small ant farms we have transferred from SC to TN as usually we beach camp first in SC and then finish up at ELKMONT in the TN mtns..

Besides spray is very toxic, terro is just sugar and borax.

We parked on an ant hill while at a cg years ago. DW noticed them crawling across the floor. Needless to say they didn't last long. It took a couple of days and some spray but she got all of them.:B

Oh crap...well i did put down some new Terro at the electrical box area that i referenced before....hopefully i didnt screw myself out of a cure :-(

Do not spray the ants, let them eat the Terro. Yes it might be a tough 3 days to watch them crawl around.

But now that you have sprayed.... put more Terro by the nest and let them eat.

For every one you see and spray there are ten in the walls hiding for later.

Every Spring I mix a cup of Borax and icing sugar then sprinkle it all over the yard specialy near the mounds. If it rains I do it again. Always get an ant free Summer.

I agree. STOP SPRAYING

The name of the game is KILL THE QUEEN and her workers will do it for you.

Stop spraying. The number of ants attracted to the Terro can be alarming. Have patience. The Terro will do the job. The more ants totin' the Terro back to the nest, the sooner you will be ant free. Usually, it takes a few days. However, it could take up to a week or so. Just keep the Terro relatively fresh, either with the drops or the traps.

Came home from work this evening and there were TONS of them swarming the terro piles and running a complete path along the walls and back to the rear corner where the power cable (the big outside one) comes in and connects to all the trailer wiring and coax splitters etc are so sprayed the "heck" out of them killed all that I could.

They must have been running that path all afternoon while I was at work.

Then I setoff a fogger tonight to kill the rest of them.

I also got some comet because I saw on a website this evening that will keep them at bay on the ground too...we shall see.

Fingers are crossed here in Mason, West Virginia.

All it takes is for one or two of the ants to feed some to the queen and she'll be dead within a few days.
