You might consider finding a used travel trailer and store it at New Bern KOA. When you want to go camping, call them ahead of time and they can pull it to a site there and set it up for you.
It's a nice campground and I'm sure they would help you out.
If you have a handicap tag, I bet most campgrounds would help you set up, doing the heavy or physical part.
If you're ever up in my neck of the woods,(near Smithfield) I would be honored to come help set up camp.
